Then a gravel road twists for a mile and a half up the side of a ridge. But if you get to the top …. Here is a small, stunning chapel built from poplar and glass. The pews are split logs.

The view opens onto a clearing at 3, feet and spreads across the Black Mountains, reaching all the way to Mount Mitchell off to the left. A few minutes ago, Guenther Penner said goodbye and headed for his house down the hill.

Quiet Reflection – Blessing 417

Guenther and his wife, Trixanna, built Quiet Reflections from acres of woods and rock. For 25 years visitors have come to escape highway noise and artificial light and the constant chatter of our wired world. This place came to Guenther in a vision. He and Trixanna spent years chasing it.

Guenther had a business fixing X-ray machines. They owned a house in Boca Raton and a cabin in Little Switzerland. Trixanna grew up in Gastonia and missed the North Carolina mountains. The Penners loved their church in Florida. But Guenther struggled with his faith. He studied and prayed but could not close the distance. One morning he put on some coffee and went out to the back porch. This is what he says happened next.

It just appeared in front of me, almost like a sphere.

Now that we’ve already cleaned up

I saw myself in there. Somehow I knew it was acres. I could smell the woods. Guenther told Trixanna. Allow yourself to focus on what you need. The thorns sprouting from your blooming roses deprive your buds of the little sunlight they initially had. Stand stronger than the storm pounding against you. Learn to make yourself big, even in the smallest of places.. Have faith in knowing that the storm will pass and the sun will radiate once more.

It is just firm advice from someone who only wants to see the best in you. Who only wants to watch you succeed. By allowing the red haze of fury to cloud your mind, you surrender your better judgement. Every time you drink the poison you lose another piece of yourself to make room. The pressure builds inside you like a volcano and when you erupt; your pride, and joy will be your only casualties. And yet, here you are, a beacon of optimism with a grin plastered on your face.

What a beguiling cluster of traits you are. Open yourself up again. I know it terrifies you inside. Hand outstretched, waiting for your firm grasp. You have so much to show the world and so much to accomplish.

Make these flames dry your tears, make them dance for you beneath the spotlight. Use them as a shield, or a deadly weapon. Make them your tool to carve art onto every inch of your world. Whatever you do, just make it yours. Sarcastic - sneering; saying the opposite of what you mean as a way of being unfriendly or making a point. I've sent this to another blog and I wanted to see how you did with it. The proximity between the girl and the guy is so short that it can get her heart to go doki doki.

To say he was in shock was an understatement. He was going out of his own room, ready to enjoy his free day. As he turned left heading for the exit of the dorms, she intercepted him so abruptly, he had to take a couple of steps back. Then she pushed him effortlessly against to the wall.

Usually, he would be sturdy as a mountain, but he was definitely taken with his guard down. So, for someone as small as her that was the only way she could actually pull that out. She slammed her hand at his side wearing one sad try of a smolder. Her eyes were glimmering with confidence.

He was about to spit some fine language at her when he finally realized what she was doing. Taking advantage of his height, that move was a common practice of his. Mostly when she got mad at him. That was his way to corner her into listening to him. However, this was plain ridiculous. He was much taller than her. Her small nose barely grazed his upper lip as she held her head high. It was too comical. He scoffed and made an effort to not let one loud laugh through the whole place.

He put his hand on her head and simply pushed her back. She gasped. Bakugou bent towards her tilting his head to a side making painfully obvious their height difference. His hand never leaving her head. He looked at her straight to her flushed face and smiled like only he could. A mix between playfulness and his usual cocky attitude. Next time try growing a couple of inches before trying to kabe-don me. He had caught her from the corner of his eye. It was almost inevitable for him to, since his eyes immediately connected with hers whenever she was near. It was like witchcraft how easily they found each other in crowds.
